Responsible for the full appraisal process, from initial document preparation and site visits to market research and final valuation. This includes:
Preparing documents, plotting routes, and calculating expenses for multiple assignments.
Conducting thorough property research, verifying location, neighborhood, and ownership using City/Municipal Assessor’s Office records.
Performing site measurements and ocular inspections, documenting neighborhood data (maps, landmarks, etc.).
Gathering market data via research and contacting brokers, agents, owners, and bank appraisers.
Determining fair market value using at least one of the three approaches to value (Market Data, Cost Approach, Income Approach).
Completing other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
Preferably or with minimum 1 year of experience in property appraisal.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Licensed Real Estate Appraiser (preferred).
Basic AutoCAD skills (preferred).
Proficiency in computer applications (Word Excel, etc.)
Good moral character.
